Macintosh Training Class
of Mac OS X 10.4.x (TIGER),
The classes consists of 4 sessions from 6:30-8:30
PM,
Computer Lab., Pinnacle Community Center,
on
the First and Third Wednesday of the month.
Will be taking registration for:

JAN-FEB SESSIONS
MAR-APR SESSIONS
The text book for this class will be Maria Langer's
"MAC OS X TIGER- Visual Quickstart Guide" which will be
available for purchase by personal check of $18
(book discounted from $25) on the first session,
September 5. The personal check payable to "SCSCC"
with the notation "Macintosh Book".
PLEASE TRY AND ARRIVE BEFORE 6:30 PM TO PURCHASE THE TEXTBOOK. The textbook is 700 pages, so we will not be able to cover all the material in the book. The book was chosen because of its visual quickstart guide design. It provides step-by-step instructions, with plenty of illustrations (screen shots) and a generous helping of TIPS. The layout of the book is for "page flipping", with thumb tabs on the page edges, and both an extensive index and table of content.
